Double whammy by Carl Hiaasen
Book Number:RC 27750
3 sound cassettes
Miami private eye R.J. Decker is hired to prove that the fishing tour’s leading prizewinner is cheating. When the champ is murdered, Decker himself becomes the prime suspect. Realizing that he’s been framed by his client, the detective sets out to clear himself with the help of a renegade Miami police detective and a backwoods recluse. Some strong language.
Another wild ride with Carl Hiaasen and his cast of crazy characters. Still poking fun at politicians, television evangelists and fighting for the preservation of Florida, he carries us through another tale of murder and greed. Written with a flair for the extreme, Double Whammy is a funny, sometimes shocking story. I give it a 4.5 out of 5.
Happy Reading,
Carla/TexasRed
